i read the book last week and saw the movie today. i have to say i liked the movie a LOT better. as in, so much better. it's fluff, of course, but good fluff. i especially liked the harry potter bit, and of course all of her outfits were AWESOME. i loved the chanel accessories and the shoes and the closet was to die for. marc jacobs bag! even zac posen mention. <3 <3 <3 meryl streep.

heidi klum, bridget hall, no lagerfeld but Valentino, in all his orange glory

oh yeah her assistant emily was a riot and gisele looking beautiful in some hot glasses played her friend.

I saw the movie just yesterday. I was fun and enjoyable, but the ending did surprise me very much and Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway did a wonderful job. They had great chemistry on set and you got to see a lot of New York in the movie. You love fashion, you'll definitely enjoy this movie.

after being very excited to see this film, having read the book a couple of times and knowing about the inspiration behind this film...
i have to say i loved it. i had heard some bad reviews, but if your familair with the story- you will love it.

My favorite part was definitely when someone was explaining to Anne's character Miranda's reactions to a collection...how pursed lips are bad, a nod is good, etc..."and she's only smiled once; that was for Tom Ford in 2001."  :D

several months later after viewing I still am excited about Meryl's performance, memorable
