The outfits look a bit sad from what I've seen, I don't think Patricia Field is styling this one! : (

...so filming for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has officially started! Anne Hathaway has already been spotted as Andy Sachs, and now here's Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly:

I don't like the look. Does anyone know if Patricia Field is behind it? Hopefully the next ones will be better. Look how everyone was more glamorous before, maybe only Tucci benefited from it.

The stylist (according to twitter rumours) is Molly Rogers, who also styles And Just Like That

Oh god. Ajlt is so badly styled. It’s such a pedestrian version of fashion.

It’s just getting more awful… Why do people think those looks are good.

It's been confirmed. Rogers worked alongside Field for years. It would have been nice to have Templer or Roitfeld as stylists for at least the three leads.

In 2025 people show up to work at the Vogue offices dressed like trash anyway, far worse than anything Anne Hathaway wore pre-makeover in the first film, so perhaps an immaculately dressed cast would be unrealistic.

There's nothing wrong with these looks, especially Meryl's. They're chic, sophisticated, age appropriate, and very New York.
I actually watched Anne shoot some scenes last Tuesday, and she looked like a Vogue Editor, crossing a midtown street.
This film is gonna slap hard, just like the original.

^I agree with this but I'm also dreading the inevitable bad styling they'll inflict on us in the name of "make fashion understaanble to the masses", even the 2006 movie had too many heavy-handed looks and this is almost guaranteed to be worse on that front.
This aged like milk!
