prada on pointe I get mine threaded..they're somewhat thin so I can go 3 weeks in between visits and it's SOOOO precise. They shape my brows really well, not expensive either, $8 plus a tip...I'd never go back to waxing/tweezing.

very good advice! this is what I have been doing for a couple years now. I lost all my hair to a medical treatment, and thankfully the hair on the top of my head grew back, but I guess it was at the cost of my eyebrows! So I have been pencilling/shading in my eyebrows ever since. They look great from a distance, very model-worthy, and I used to think they looked pretty good up close too.cbcb said:Four things to mention:
- I love Chanel's waxy eyebrow pencil in the taupe shade. Although I'm a brunette this is dark enough and you can put it on easily without making big errors. They have a powdery pencil too but I don't like that one - I like the waxy one with the little mascara wand on the other end.
- To fill in sparse brows, do you have a very thin kind of stiff brush? I'd just try that with a little wet eyeshadow of whatever shade you have that's closest to your brows. That's easiest for drawing in little fake hairs. You could try it without wetting the shadow too but wet will give you darker. Then you can kind of dust over the eyebrow with dry eyeshadow to give it a little more solid filled in look if you need that.
Browneyes said:I never pluck my eyebrows - they are pretty enough when left aloneand i don't mean to sound vain by saying that. It's just that I don't like brows that are too thin or too perfect, so a stray hair or two doesn't bother me. Actually the ideal brows to me are the really thick, distinctive brows like Brooke Shields had when she was really young. I love that look. Not monobrow - just really strong.
So what I do sometimes is use a bit of mascara to darken and thicken. And i have a special soft old toothbrush that i use only for brushing my eyebrows. It's budget, but it works just fineI would like to try out an eyebrow pencil though.
