^ Yes she is really good but watching these old shows makes me cringe with all the dramatic poses and the over the top attitude

I don't think Fei Fei looked fierce at Lanvin and her quick turn looked sloppy, I don't know thats just me.

Those were the days. And now nothing can top the fierceness of the 90's Mugler shows.

Now it has reached the other extreme where there is no drama at all! Shows have become dull and underwhelming, you just don't get the rush anymore :(

You say sloppy, I say effortless and elegant  Not many models these days can pull off that kind of turn and in that tight dress and mile high Lanvin shoes all the time in sync with the music beat! THAT is runway perfection!

Here is one from the front. I think the quickness of the turn makes it even more fierce, only pros can do that without falling. Also, notice how her the line on the ground is exactly between her feet when she turns? It was just perfect :)

^ I like that about her, she's like cold and mysterious and doesn't try too hard, it looks effortless. She does not have THE best walk but its one of the best among current models imo.

She belongs to the better walkers, that's true.
I just wish that the "walking trend" went back to where it was before all the stiffness, no arm movement etc. in some cases started.

I've got to admit, the quick turn looks good from the front but the low angled side shot just looked strange.

The Opening of Lanvin Fall 2009. I love how the curtain opens to reveal the door made of red roses and the models are already walking from a distance in the warehouse and as Magdalena comes through the door, the lights turn on one after another and her foot falls perfectly with the music beat. Then she is folowed by one great walker after another Iris, Raquel, Jamie, Tanya, Yulia, bliss

BTW why is it so hard to find the unedited version of Lanvin shows? I have never seen the full unedited version of this show. :(

^ I do have the full unedited version of this show (and S/S 2009) in HQ, but I can't upload it because my youtube channel got deleted two monts ago (still working on it...:()

^ Oh that would be great if you could upload it Christian :flower: I have searched everywhere and found just this :furious:

Speaking of Lanvin, many fierce moments in this show like Olga opening or Mariacarla (1:20). I absolutely adore Irina as well (2:27).

It is a pity full unedited Lanvin shows are so hard to find.

^ Olga was magnificent, even with the fast music and tight dress she managed to synchronize her foot fall with the beat. I think the Fall 2008 show established Lanvin as THE show to watch, at least for me. Thanks to fatalefashionll, I actually found the unedited version of this one :).

Maryna Linchuk during the finale of that Lanvin show (11:06) She commanded that attention and looked effortless doing so!
