What's this recent trend of photographers taking the most boring and sleep-inducing pictures of women with such great presence and personality, who is always up for a challenge when it comes to fashion? First Lizzo, and now Janelle.
Janelle's recent US Shape cover is miles better than this drab image, which will remain on newsstands for a season.

Had such high hopes when I clicked on this thread, but the result is underwhelming. In truth, even a merely competent photo of a real live human woman feels like a win, considering the dearth of quality in 2020 covers, but it’s still a wasted opportunity. I hope the editorial is more inspiring.
