I tried "Bikini Zone", it's a gellylotiontypething ( ) that is supposed to clear up nicks from shaving. It works, but it's not really worth it...

I also tried Veet Sugar Wax Strips (down there, and on my legs).... did not work AT ALL... taking them back... :furious:

Razors, baby. Nair lotion always worked for me, though, too.

I've been brazilian waxing for about 4 years now, it's the best. once you start you never go back. the first time is the absolute msot painful (take an advil before) but after that it gets easier every time... now it's totally not a big deal for me at all.

I'm really interested in laser hair removal for my armpits... I shave there now and I would love to never have stubble there again. Did anyone do that area... was it successful? Also, someone told me that there is a risk of skin cancer with lazer hair removal... can anyone back that up or is it jsut a myth?

I shave and have done so since I was 15. I would love permanent hair removal someday though.

 this topic is scarey!

i am terrified of people with big bushy regions its a real turn off

question : has anyone ever gotten hair in their mouth from giving a blow job or licking out a p*ssy?

doesnt the hair help keep it more clean by trapping bacteria so it doesnt get in it? much like nose hairs, you know?

anyway...i wax myself with nair, its easy and...strangely fun( ;) )....as long as youre skin is exfoliated.

You're actually correct. Shaving and waxing is not the healthiest thing. The hair is there for a reason: trapping sweat, catching bacteria etc. I learned this from my gyno, and a waxist who once refused to wax me completely.

I've been waxing (completely bare incl a-ring) for about 7 years, and find it empowering - like my lil' secret lol. A previous poster said that once you start, you never go back and she's right. It's makes you feel clean and sexy. never worry about an impromptu hot tub dip lol. After about 3 trips, it becomes less painful.

I've only been with 1 guy who was totally bare (all over) and it was a turnoff - I guess I wasn't epecting it, and found it a little fem. I like men who trim.

I've tried shaving and creams about 3 times, and broke out in horrible razor burn/rash afterwards - itchy!!! For those that shave how do you do it w/o getting a reaction the next day?

People use depilatories for the pubic area????????? Seriously??
The prospect seems

*dies*

Oh how I love your straightforwardness.....

Still that is not a prospect I'd want to think about...I dont want to go to my dentist to get a haircut... :P Still for a lot of noticeable hair to get stuck in your mouth....thats kinda a lot of hair down there then

haha.. that does sound scary.. but then again so does waxing down there.

I made the mistake of shaving down there once without proper preparation and got some ingrown hairs, quite unsightly.. I'll stick to trimming, I like girls clean shaven though =)

I have always wanted to get it laser removed...

About three weeks ago I had a Brazilian done with a laser. Painful? - but only at the exact moment of zapping; imagine being struck with a large rubber band. However, the moment the zap is over there is no residual stinging/burning/pain. The technician told me I'd "experience a 50-80% reduction in hair" after the first treatment, but I have almost nothing left anymore. I was the ideal light skin/dark hair candidate but was by no means less than hirsute. Best part? The dermatologist I go to was having an introductory special - $99.

Oh wow. I've been seriously considering this. I know it's so expensive, but dammit so does waxing end up being and no I can't do it by myself. If anyone else is thinking of getting it done, would you go 'the whole hog' (ie right down under and round backwards - you catch my drift) or just like the normal bikini wax (everything that sticks out of a bikini brief)?

Methinks Amelia is going to be saving her pocket money.

Exactly. I've tried to leave a landing strip but I always end up going back the next day to get it taken off. Once you go bare you never go back.

Hairy men are gross. Wax it please, it's not that painful. I do like a little treasure trail and a 5 o'clock shadow is really sexy :brows: but let's keep things downstairs neat and groomed.
