Oh the pain is right! Gahhh. I just shave.

That's pretty easy to maintain. Sometimes I get in-grown hairs, but I just exfoliate extra nicely for the next 3-5 days and it's gone!

^thankfully i haven't had any painful episodes from shaving, but it's still a bit scary of an undertaking. i'm extra extra extra careful. i have no desire to wax, but it would probably be a lot easier.

time out... what do you exfoliate with down there? because i don't know if applying facial exfoliate down there is a safe move!

^^^ I use a L'oreal one ... exfotonic or something? and a glove. I'm just very very careful

^ you tweezed down there? oh... the pain.

I would pluck everyhair with a tweezer before I ever shaved down there again.
It just hurts for a minute but when I shaved I was irratated for a long time and got lots of ingrown hairs.
My waxer made me promise I would never do it again and I have no plans too.

Has anyone that shaves ever cut themself?....
I would think that would be very painful.

all in all, the point is that it's about personal preference and what you feel is unhygenic, not because of...

imo, wet pubic hair is disgusting, so to me, it's much more hygienic to shave so that when you do pee, that hair does not get wet. there is no such thing as cleaning yourself properly so that your pubic hair doesn't get wet... unless you are some out of this world acrobat and pee differently than others so that by some miracle, your pubic hair doesn't get wet when you pee and wipe.

so, i guess it all depends on what you feel is unhygienic. personally, i think that drinking from someone else's cup is disgusting and unhygienic, and i know a lot of people who do it and don't think it's a big deal... so it's all about personal choice and perception.

How are you 'wiping' yourself after you use the toilet? I ask this because I am always shocked to hear women say they wipe back to front, and women apparently do it very often. Doing that can definitely cause pubic hair to be unclean, but if you're wiping correctly than there shouldn't be any problem with smell, etc. Unless you have an infection or something of that sort, that is a problem.

I understand there is personal preference for look and feeling, but I don't understand how people (women especially) look at unshaven bodies, or bodies with those freakish little 'landing strips' or hair shaved into a peace symbol and whatnot, and think that's sexy. I do not get that.

You said you had sensitive skin right? That's why I refuse to shave every again, it was horrific! I actually did cut myself :shock: Combined with ingrowns, it's pretty frightening. That was the end of that experiment!

I'm working up the courage to get waxed but the idea of a stranger yanking out my pubic hair sort of creeps me out  But I'm gonna try and be strong :p

I do have sensitive skin.
I can't believe you cut you friend ( as Ida called it:p) and lived to tell.

I know it's very strange to have a stranger down there but keep in mind they do it all day long and are very used to it.

Have you ever seen the MTV True Life where the girl gets her bikini wax from her future mother in law?.... That's creepy!

regardless of how you wipe, that hair does get wet when you pee if it is not trimmed or shaved.

tweezer down there?
:ninja:...
that's alot of work, not to mention painful [?] and excruciating back pains.

...

izzie stevens: TMI!

justadreamer: hilarious!

Back pains?.... What?:huh::blink:
From bending over I think. I have tried to "clean up" by tweezing between waxes, and it's really not more painful than anything else. Less painful than waxing. But god is it tedious. Not something I would recommend spending your time on. :p Thankfully I am getting waxed again today, it's been too long.:ninja:
