A little off topic but still Hermes related.

My friend asked me "What's Hermes?" when I pointed out a blue jean 25cm kelly worn by a stranger in front of us. Probably the friend knows and have seen the Hermes shop but doesn't know how it's pronounced. So I told her it's the Birkin brand.

We passed by an orange 35cm birkin and later I saw a gorgeous gorgeous gorge 20cm green croc kelly with matching twilly tied oh so nicely around the handles but decided not to point it out to her, her assured lack of enthusiasm would just be too much for me to handle.

HI ladies i am so excited,finally i got my first 35 Birkin ( the SA called this "cafe" colour). I picked it up from Macau, HongKong , and i feel very lucky coz i've been waiting for 4 months only . the price should be cheaper than some counties since here is tax free. I'll treasure it, now i am going to search more detail about Birkin. haha * thanks for letting me share *

^ who are those people!? They look very blonde and happy. Her bag looks like an authentic kelly to me in biscuit togo leather - though its difficult to be totally sure with photos of this kind however there are no obviously "off" points about it .

Oh yeah! A bit disappointed I think. I think she still plans to sell it on ebay, so watch out any ebay buyers - if you see a red polyester scarf with Hermes with no accents, do not buy!
Same friend who asked me if I liked their bag (a clear take off of a Dior monogram bag) and I was like "Looks like Dior." and she was like "OH MY GOD! do you think it is?? I must tell my sister!"
I didn't have the heart to correct her then.
