I know it has been identified as a Rachel Zoe bag, but just as an FYI, it came out in the latest Harper's Bazaar (July 2006) on page 16 ("Hottest, Newest, Latest - What's New")

It shows two bags with the snake/rams's heads. One is by Derek Lam (it has ram's heads) and the other, with the snakes, is Rachel Zoe for Judith Leiber. Here's what it says:
"Versace has Medusa, and now others are getting in on bold gold hardware, this time with rams' heads and snakes. Derek Lam decorated his new line of carryalls with the baroque details, and stylist Rachel Zoe added a dash of flash to the bags she designed for Judith Leiver. Says Zoe, 'It's exotic glamour.' "

There is also a picture of Zoe with Linsay Lohan, "a fan of the new Judith Leiver bags."

For those of you interested in the bags, the Derek Lam bag goes for around $1950 and the Rachel Zoe for Judith Leiber clutch goes for $7995!

Anyone know the name of this bag? I think it's rather ugly, but my friend wants to know! Thanks!

lawson~ i was refering to livs bag....the designer zac posen debuted a bag line inspired by african handicraft and they were called butterfly bags....i am not sure if thats what she has or not

Can somebody identify this bag Jessica Simpson is carrying?

It sort of gives me a Kooba - Ada feeling, but as a different bag style and in a tote. I think it's cute and snazzy, although not the most elegant bag ever. (Have to cover my bases with the opinionists.) I like the big rings.
