The Indies

Linda Carle, based in Marseille. She's independent in every sense of the word. Excellent clothes made from natural fibers, basically cotton in summer and wool in winter. Her goal is to suggestively celebrate the female form. I saw her modeling her own line and she looked smashing.

Does anybody know , where she is selling?

Merry Xmas

Mary,Claudia Lukas is a Vienna-based designer. Not sure if she sells anywhere, that I know of, except a shop in Vienna right now. She's still pretty young and unknown so everything is kind of exclusive and limited at this point.

Get her e-mail address from the site though, she can certainly tell you more than I. ;)

I suppose that Arkadius Weremczuk would be considered an indie designer, but I'm not really sure if that still holds true. I think he's great, his designs are uncompromising and controversial and really make a statement

I can see the attraction in Copenhagen. Its starting to become the "Antwerp" of Scandinavia.
