The Last Movie You Saw?

Poltergeist (2015). Not as bad as I expected but it's not a great horror movie. It has a few good scenes but the original is much better.

I just saw 'Yves Saint Laurent' (the one starring Pierre Niney  as Laurent)! While the film was visually stunning in many places, I thought the script and the flow of the movie was a little disjointed. There was a lack of insight into Laurent as a man, as a designer, and the film touches very little on the creative process that Laurent might have gone through in order to creative the collections he did, which I was looking forward to seeing. The film focused way too much on the demonic aspects of Laurent's life (the film's progression made Laurent come across as quite awful  and I don't believe he was so ) and while I don't think you can just ignore these aspects, it really soured what could have been a fascinating look into the life of this celebrated designer.

I'd like to see 'Saint Laurent' with Gaspard Ulliel as Laurent

Mad Max: Fury Road. A movie that rocks. I didn't expect to like it that much.

Mad Max- An action movie with subtly and substance. Loved it!
Ex Machina- I'm not sure what I thought about it but it got me thinking

Ex-Machina. I really liked it. Kind of a scifi version of Frankenstein. And I loved the actors in it, every one of them were really great.

Somehow I got stuck watching Hair on tv... and it was very odd and the ending is ridiculously depressing!

In preparation for 'Jurassic World,' I've decided to re-watch the first three films.

Dr. Ian Malcolm: "God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs."

Dr. Ellie Sattler: "Dinosaurs eat man. Woman inherits the earth."

I watched both movies, the first one a year and a half ago and even if I can't recall all the details, I remember I liked the movie, it was interesting and naturally visually very appealing. Last week I watched another version with Gaspard Ulliel and I thought it was horrible. If you didn't like some the aspects you mentioned about the first film, you will dislike the second one even more. Such a huge emphasis on his demons and very little progression of the plot, and Gaspard could not save the film:(

Suite Française (2015).
En duva satt på en gren och funderade på tillvaron (2015).
