The Last Movie You Saw?

VH1, which I haven't watched since undergrad, is having a 14 days of love marathon....

Notting Hill just finished. Now they're showing Love Actually.

:innocent:

Marshland - superb thriller from Spain. Very under the radar movie but I'd highly recommend it.

Macbeth (2015) - very moody and atmospheric. Not bad. And of course there's Marion.

The Double Life of Véronique - Been meaning to watch this for years! It's Kieslowski. If you love Three Colours trilogy you must see it. Beautiful film. And I fell in love with Irène Jacob all over again.:heart:

Get Hard - and as a complete contrast to all of the above! I laughed a few times, gotta admit. The premise of the film is a rather dodgy one.

Pride and prejudice and zombies. I didn't expect to like it that much, but I think it was awesome.

Joy. Kinda messy and full of cliches.

Zoolander 2. Not bad, not as good as the first one, but specially the last part, with Will Ferrell, was really funny.

Deadpool. Really funny.
Concussion. Interesting because of the subject but I didn't like the movie very much.

Bridge Of Spies - very competently made. Hanks totally suits his role and Rylance is superb. But I found the ending a bit heavy-handed.

Room - Wow! This totally blew me away! Hadn't read the book but I knew the premise. Still I found it very affecting. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay were amazing and I totally believed their relationship. Impressed with the director getting that performance out of a seven year-old. Clever cinematography too. Still thinking about this movie a couple of days later which definitely means it's done something right.
