The Last Movie You Saw?

Anora. It was bland and underwhelming. I dont understand why Mikey was nominated for an Oscar…….

The Elephant Man, as part of a tribute to David Lynch.
An incredibly moving portrait of being different, of kindness and suffering.
After John is invvited to have tea with the doctor and his wife, and he talks about his mother's beauty, it was festival of tears for me 😅🥳

"I am happy every hour of the day. My life is full because I know I am loved.”

I agree the movie was underwhelming and overpraised but I thought Mikey was deserving of her acclaim. Her real-life persona is so different from Anora.

Letty Lynton ... I hope one day soon they restore and release this! Sorry if it is trite to say but Joan Crawford really had (has) such star power.

The Red Riding Trilogy (1974, 1980, 1983), I remember the hype around this mini-series when it first came out but never bothered with it. 1974, the first film, was pretty decent and Andrew Garfield gave a good performance, but I don't think the other films held up. 1983 was god-awful, I thought. I'm curious about the book series now!!

I started watching Lisa Frankenstein this morning, but forgot to finish it after I came home from running errands. I guess I'll finish it later.
