The Most You've Ever Spent On A Single Item?

£210 on some Armani Frames. Not a lot of money in the great scheme of things

This is mind boggling to me. I mean, I know that everything in the UK is considerably more expensive than in the states, but I paid about $200 for my Dior frames last year, so less than half of what you paid.

^The lenses were most probably included in that. I bought them maybe 2 years ago. But the price of them now would possibly be even more than that, which is why I'm getting my next pair online ;)

Ok. Yea, I'm trying to remember at the moment lol. I think I paid $180 for the frames, and then $270 with the lenses. Still a huge difference!

It all started with a splurge on a pair of $120 Nikes with an adorable zebra print...then $100 ankle boots (pre-ankle boot trend)...and most recently a $288 pair of Oliver Peoples frames (which I regret) and now I'm about to purchase a pair of knee high leather boots for $170 (which I'm still debating on). Hopefully, I don't fall into a trend of purchasing expensive items because I certainly don't have the income for that.

$400 on a see by chloe coat (on major sale), unless you count handbags.

$150 on a dress. but i ended up returning it for a few tops. I know it's not much compared to others, but I'm a student who can barely pay the bills, so that's a lot for me!

For a nonessential item... I spent like $205 on my hair straightener. It's excellent, though. No regrets.

1500 on a Givenchy Nightgale and recently 500 pounds for a Burberry bracelet with studs from Fall 08

It would have to be $3800 for my Fendi Burgundy Velvet Squirrel Spy bag...

And then, about $1200 on my Hot Pink Satin Mini Muse bag...

Well my Dolce and Gabbana glasses were around the 600$ mark with lenses and for a clothing item 350$ Christopher Deane dress and for a pointless item 68$ on a Marc Jacobs umbrella.

$576 on alaia sandals. the origanal cost was around $1,500. so i don;t feel so bad spending that much

those sandals are gorgeous. I'd definately consider that a GREAT buy! these days no-name brands are charging crazy prices for the simplest of shoes and just look at the detail in those shoes!!!

The most I ever spent was about three hundred on a Dsquared coat on e bay in that lumberjack style that seems to be rife this season. I bought it about four years ago, and when I wore it then no one understood it, and now people think it's from topshop. I can't win!

i haven't gotten the chance to wear my alaia sandals yet because of the snow but i'm starting to feel the guilt from the amount of money i spent on it...i tried to sell it on ebay a few weeks ago...it's the most money by far i've ever spent on one item.. up until then the most i ever spent on spmething was my nike high top sneakers which cost a little over $100, but i wore them everyday so i didn't feel bad about the price...i think i may try to ebay them again in the spring...but i really love them,,,i'm so confussed as to what to do..

the second thing i bought that cost a lot was my miu miu patant boots about $222 from yoox (with discount code down from about $400) back in december..i wore it to my sisters house the other day and my sister made me feel bad about the price which killed my joy of finally owning the boots i've been lusting after for almost a year
