The Most You've Ever Spent On A Single Item?

I spent around a grand total of $2800 on my Nikon (not just the camera but filters and cleaners etc.), but I love it to death.

$1500 on a well deserved birthday present to myself... Patent Leather Red Balenciaga...AMAZEBALLS and worth every penny

I don't really buy expensive stuff...but if I like something that is waaaaaaay expensive then I'm gonna have to wait for discounts and stuff or find a sponsor? :) like this diamond studded Gucci watch, gifted to me along with diamond bracelet worth if I heard the sales person right it was around $1000+ more or less, it was waaaay back. I didn't really end up with that guy but i was able to keep the goods cause he is sweet that way :)

Oh geezuz, my splurge was $600 on a pair of Christina Louboutin pumps- I need to step up the spending though- don't feel so guilty now!!!

i think it was my Burberry trench ($1,300) or my Christian Louboutin Alti Boots ($1,200) they were more expensive because of shipping from the us to germany and taxes :(

but i love them, so it's 'o.k.' ;)

$234 au. on an Anna Sui skirt just last week.. is the most i have spent on 1 item.. so far

On clothes... I spent $60 on a dress when I was in America, from something like Macys or JC penney, can't remember. I had a gift card so it was more like a gift, haha.

500+ dollars on a HUGE obnoxious monogramed coach bag when I was 14. I STILL regret it, and to repent for this I never spend more than 100 on any single item

Almost $1000 for an Alexander McQueen skirt from the Spring 2005 chess collection that retailed for $4,000.

I still kick myself for not buying the dress that closed the YSL PAP Spring 2003 show. The seller was possibly listing the dress under false pretenses, but I would've taken the risk and coughed up the $1,700.

Gucci frames easily cost $500 in Australia.

This is mind boggling to me. I mean, I know that everything in the UK is considerably more expensive than in the states, but I paid about $200 for my Dior frames last year, so less than half of what you paid.

Wow, you're awesome. I, uh um, spent $400 on a Gucci skirt when I was a couple years older and it's only gotten worse since...

I at least still wear the skirt. And I still look good in it.

$250 on a bottle of chanel perfume for my mum, its now her signature scent that everyone comments on^_^
$1000 or about that for and Armani leather jacket.
Close to $2000 on my macbook pro.

When I was 15 I spent over $400 to buy my then-boyfriend a Louis Vuitton monogrammed wallet. sooooooooooooo not worth it. He ended up losing it a few years after we broke up. I wasted my hard-earned money working at Dairy Queen on that loser lol
The only expensive items I have bought for myself were my laptop and my backpacking trip to Europe.

Well, about 1200 Euro on my wedding dress... Looking back I think I shouldn't have spent that much on something you wear only once. I should have worn something fun that would have served me on other occassions, too.

The "real life" item I spent most on is a Burberry Trench, it was about 750 Euro. I bought it this month and it looks SO classy and great with nearly all outfits I own so I sincerely hope I won't regret that purchase... :p

I think the most is £140 on some vintage Gucci sunglasses, or an Alice by Temperley striped dress for a similar price.
