I went through the thread over the weekend and compiled list of all PaP/HC posted here so far (as first page is out of date). I wanted to post this but have 2 questions:
- first post lists predominantly PaP only, but in the thread, i see people quoting first post and it used to have HC shows as well. Did someone remove HC soundtracks?
- If we were to post PaP/HC lists, i would also include Givenchy under Galliano and Margiela shows... However, it will be a bit off-topic as thread is called CD soundtracks. Would it be more reasonable to start a new thread 'Soundtracks from John Galliano shows (Galliano, Givenchy, Dior, Margiela)' and start fresh or would it be spamming the forum??

To answer your two questions: 1) I remember vividly there were two lists (RTW and HC) the HC one must be here somewhere I believe. 2) That is a great idea! Although I'm not sure if all of them used Jeremy Healy as the DJ?

At least in Margiela yes. I remember watching interviews and Jeremy appears telling the inspiration for the Givenchy soundtracks (with Galliano).

The song/s after "Rapture" that I know:
"Love Hangover" - Diana Ross, which would be the violin piece as well
"Starlight" - The Superman Lovers (finale).

"Symphony for Isabelle, Pt. 9" by Craig Armstrong is mixed with "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" at the start and used a bit throughout, and is also used for John's appearance. And with "Love Hangover" I can hear a bit of "Mothership Reconnection (Daft Punk Remix)" by Scott Grooves but that might not be it. "Bahlam" by Natacha Atlas comes in after "Get Ur Freak On" and is also used throughout too.

Still can't figure out the guitar riff. This one and the remixed riff used before "Roadhouse Blues" in Dior Spring 2001 are so bloody hard to find. All I know with the latter is that it was also used in Lagerfeld's Fall 1997 collection.

Ufff, years later and the thrill of discovering the music to the shows by Galliano at Dior and his own label still is there. The music just blasted the shows into a different universe. The music at his shows were and are the gold standard for me. The soundtracks these days seem to be an afterthought ! Might be due to the current music industry and copyright issues, but still ! License the real music !!

Hello everyone,

I went silent but i was working on revising the tracklist. I just did not realize how much work it will be (I am now literally dreaming Healy's soundtracks and waking up to them in my head). I decided to limit the list of sountracks to Galliano/Dior and maybe I will do Givenchy/Margiela ones eventually. Right now, it is too overwhelming.
I managed to complete Galliano FW1996 one and then ALL Dior PaP collections under Galliano. I ordered them chronologically (both by season and how they go in the show), i replaced mis-I.D.-ed tracks and added missing ones I could find. Except 1998-1999 years, I have almost complete list. I am now moving onto Dior HC soundtracks and then last will be Galliano ones. If someone wants to help me, please, PM me. help is needed and very welcome. thank you...

Years ago, i read in "Galliano, Spectacular Fashion" that the sections were based on Kirsten, Riley, Kate and Gisele, but was never sure which one was which. ^ “Cloudbusting” by Kate Bush but not sure what it is overlaid with when it gets further into it. The violins are part of the original song though if that makes it easier.
