kissmesweet-No,I do not know it will happen,something in the last show just made me think of it as a possibility.It would be a sweet ending for the show-I'm just guessing what may end up happening-i have no information.
 
I don't understand why they got rid of Marissa! One of the only uncheesy parts of the show is the ryan/marissa relationship- well when they are together atleast...

so true but it just wouldnt be right for them to get married and have the happy ending-its too boring,its more romantic for her to die alone in his arms,young and mixed up.....etc.

IMO, I think it was a smart move for Mischa Barton to get out of that show early as possible, that is if it is true that her charactor has been killed off the show. I'm saying this is good, because if Mischa is looking for something more, such as a carreer in films, she wouldn't want to stick around O.C. too long, or she will be typed-cast and make it harder for her to break out into the big screen. I could see her doing some indie films for a while, and build herself up. Kind of like actress Zooey DeChanel...... ^_^

whaaat!!? she's like the entire show :(


but heyy remember at the end of season 2 we all think ryan's brother was dead and in the beginning of season 3 he was alive sooo the same can happen with marissa...though if it's true that mischa said her character dies I guess it could be true ..maybe is a publicity trick

^i have a feeling she really did die. There was an article about it in Us Weekly talking about if it was Mischa's decision or the producer's decision.

Can we please keep all of the spoilers in white? For those of us who haven't seen the end of the season yet...
 
Okay, I just noticed that Mischa Barton seemed to spoil most of America herself, so I guess the writing in white might be redundant...
 
guess what. apparently, taylor is suppose to "replace" marrissa in season 4 and a lot more new characters are going to be introduced later. i just think it's really annoying that so many characters keep coming in and leaving the show. if that's the only way to keep the storyline going, then that's a real shame.

i also have a feeling that summer and seth won't be going to brown afterall. there's probably going to be a funeral in newport beach for marrissa and summer and seth will end up joining ryan at berkeley. it just makes more sense to keep everyone in the same place after everything that has happened. that's just what i think though.
 
^i have to say, the show is going downhill. even though i looooove Ben McKenzie, I am probably going to be tuning into Grey's Anatomy next sesaon instead of The OC

The agree with you on the Berkeley theory, although I hadn't thought of that before. It's kind of like how the cast of 90210 miraculously ended up going to the same school.
 
Anyone saw the season premiere?

Well it was kinda weird. But i guess it will get better.
 
I wasn't impressed with the first episode of the new season. It seems a little "out there" for me. Cage fighting? Comic book drawing to win Ryan back? Summer being a hippie?!? Marissa isn't there...weird much? Julie drugged out of her mind....well, not that surprising.
Seth is still one of the only reasons I watch the show, that and Summer. But if Summer keeps being a hippie, I might lose interest.
 
The first episode of the new season was absolutley horrible.
I dont like Summer being such a hippie.
I dont like how Ryan is so.. i dont know. Theres just something about his character now that makes me.. mad. lol.

And the episode was just. bad bad bad bad bad.
the rest of the season better be NOTHING like that one episode. it has to be 100% better.
or people are going to stop watching it.
 
Spoiler: According to Ask Ausiello, Taylor will flirt with Ryan and he would take an interest in her. How's that for "replacement" But I do like Autumn Reeser!

^^ Read at your own risk. :) The show has gone downhill, but I've seen the latest one and it isn't as bad as I thought.
 
The second episode was better, but still too "dark" for OC. I don't know, i hope it will get better.
