Reese Witherspoon — Currently the most confidently chic woman in Hollywood, she knows what looks good on her and she always gets it right.

Michelle Williams — The next It girl. Her strapless, eggplant-hued, tiered empire waist gown could have been fussy, but it was fashion at its finest. Her simple hair and makeup balanced the decadence of the dress.
I totally agree with that :flower: !!!

I love....

1.Keira's which I found very surprising cause I thought she would wear to some british designer and went for the Italian glamour.

2.Diane, I think she looks so great with the make up and the clips and everything, I think velvet was a good and outstanding option.

3.Michelle Williams, she had the best man and she looks so sweet and angelic and has this mummy glow.

4.Gwyneth you see her tummy and that was so cute, I loved the whole jewelley and the dress. It may be shakesperean or too pride&prejudice but I love it, it was nice not see so much glitter and heavy make up.

5.Natalie!!!Gorgeous girl!!Incredible lucky cause her hair is growing like a pixie cut and that's so cute and great.Love pixie's

Does anyone know who is the designe of Diane Kruger's dress???

Worst: Charlize theron and Paris Hilton(terrible make up and the hair was so unflattering and she's just plain tacky and ugly, her nose is just...)

Reese Witherspoon is 'chic'? That's hilarious! She always looks like someone who wears what her stylist tells her.... Chanel, Chanel, Chanel..... If she knew anything about fashion wouldn't she be embarrassed about wearing a dress that Kirsten already brought to the forefront?

O.K. here is my best and worst list....

Best
1. Definitely Marcia Cross! When she came on the screen I said, "Oh my God, Marcia looks radiant and what a dress!" Only Marcia Cross could pull off that color.
2. Another Desperate Housewife: Felicity Huffman. She certainly did not look like a transsexual tonight! In fact, she looked so feminine and elegant, and just sexy! Her hair and makeup was fantastic as well. Normally she can look so harsh and this dress was perfect.
3. A nod to the little black dresses: I loved both Charlize and Natalie Portman. They were very chic and both looked radiant as usual. Was Natalie not channelling Audrey or what? Her eyebrows were TOTALLY Audrey. Oh, and did you see that vintage Cartier bracelet that Charlize was wearing? It was pulled from a museum display for her to wear! Gorgeous.

Worst
1. I agree with many of the critics: Gina Davis looked HUGE! I don't mean fat, I just mean larger than life and not in a good way. The bare shoulders and bright red seemed to accentuate her being a "big girl." She is so tall, which is fine, but the dress made her seem mammouth. And the way it fit made her look like she was kind of lumpy. BUT as usual, her dimeanor and her lovely complexion saved her. She looked lovely, but it was not the best choice.

2. Debrah Messing was just BLAH! Since having her baby, I just feel like she is sloppy. I would have liked to have seen her with her hair tossed up in a loose and falling updo and with something a bit more glam. She dressed like her show: retiring and forgettable. Snap!

3. Tie: Johnny Depp - Oh Johnny!! You are so gorgeous....why hide under that mass of nasty facial hair and Black and Red is so YUCK!

Adrian Brody - Dude! The hair has to go!

Honorable Mentions:

1. Best: Reese Whitherspoon
2. Worst: Diane Kruger....too plain and too dark for LA in the day time I hated it.

But Kirsten looked horrible in that dress. Also, it looks totally different on Reese and she totally pulled it off. I wouldn't call her chic necessarily, but her stylist knows what he or she is doing because I have not seen a bad red carpet get up in a while. The dress really flattered her small, petite frame.

Why does Mariah Carey always insist on wearing clothes that are two sizes too small for her?! :yuk:

Some more who I think looked beautiful..

Linda Cardellini
Felicity Huffman
Maggie Grace

Kirsten didn't really get that much coverage in the Chanel since she didn't go to an award show in it, just an afterparty. So, mainstream people will relate the dress to Reese now. But E! needs to hire Isaac for all their award show coverage. He was so funny and the massive tool, Ryan Seacrest, didn't get it.

All of that said, it doesn't make Reese "chic". I don't really think mainstream critics who know very little about fashion decide whom is chic. It makes her stylist "possibly chic" and a copycat....

I feel like no matter what Reese/Keira wore, everyone would declare it fabulous:ninja: . Their outfits did nothing for me....

Reena Hammer - Jonathan Rhys Meyers' girlfriend

Sorry this is off topic, but is she Ruby Hammer's (make-up artist) daughter. If not they look alike and share the same last name!

Scarlett Johansson
i've seen worse than a few flaunted assets though she looks more appropriately-dressed for a cocktail party than the red carpet :ninja:

Kirsten Dunst

I know, it looks like someone trying to impersonate a British accent, which is what Gwyneth was doing, which is what I am trying to convey.

Yeah, but she barely talked with a "fake" British accent at all... and the only reason you could hear a bit of it is because she lives there, practically year round. She's bound to pick some of it up.

I think it is perfectly normal that Gwyneth has a british accent and tries to make it sound thicker, she lives in England nearly all near, her husband is this proud englishman totally anti-America's policies and most her family is english (aren't day?) I think it is perfectly normal
Maybe she just tries to make it obvious that she's british, she's proud of it and loves having a British accent. That's what Sienna Miller used to do in her early days. I personally think British accent is sexier but that's just me...(remember Jude Law in Alfie, that accent was so sexy)
