I don't like Bieber, that's for sure, but I can't say I completely dislike this cover, or Franca Sozzani's decision to put him on the cover. I'd rather see him on the cover than people like Kim Kardashian, Madonna or Nicki Minaj. (I think Franca sometimes uses L'Uomo as a substitute for Vogue, featuring celebrities she'd never put on the cover of Vogue, but wants to keep on her good side).
I'm glad they are doing more "Young" issues and chosing more relevant young talents (Eddie Redmayner, Xavier Dolan, Dane DeHaan) rather than doing thematic issues.
Now L'Uomo just needs a new graphic designer and Franca Sozzani to get over the idea that male models are not real people.
Are you high? This cover is hideous. He looks bloated, and those face he pulls are cringeworthy. I don't understand why the fashion world are using him so much. He has no redeeming qualities, he's not even liked by most people! He's known for being an absolute trainwreck with the things he says and does.
Everyone needs to stop trying to make him happen in HF. This is exactly an example of older people in the fashion industry using what they THINK is hot with the young people, so they can feel young. The use of JB is clear they don't actually understand that young people don't like him.
What self-respecting man who buys L'uomo Vogue is thinking "Oh hey, Justin Bieber is on the cover! Wow great, he looks amazing, i love his music and image - so much i want to invest in this cover!". None.
Also, models should only do these covers. But I'd MUCH rather see Madonna or Nicki over this guy!
