I mean, if they want to represent "queer beauty", they should try harder -as Out does- and use queer/non binary/trans models instead a white twink like they always do. For me, this story screams: we try to be woke but not woke enough to give queer models a platform.

Maybe I'm asking too much considering the magazine. Btw, the model is cute af.

You do make a valid point, but I must add that Gay Times run way more pages that Out and as such there are still a lot of smaller edits which I've not posted, in this edition. So I don't think the trans/non-binary folk will feel underrepresented. That's the reason why they actually run multi-covers - to cover all their bases. But I understand that a beauty dedicated feature should probably not just centre around their core readership. I can't help but go easy on them because at least they try, unlike others.

What is interesting is despite all the fashion content, and the crazy amount of HF labels used throughout the magazine, is that there's not a single brand formally advertising in Gay Times. No LV, Gucci or whatever. And they've somehow managed to get first dibs on the much-hyped Tomo look for Dita's editorial.

Dont know if it was posted but Man About Town magazine is featuring a new Bruce Weber editorial 'Under Parisienne Skies' featuring his usual assortment of undressed models?! Bold choice in bad taste. They all come slithering back dont they? Guess they figured people have moved on and dont care. Waiting for Mario and Terry's return I suppose? Sad.

Love, love, love Clément! and the editorial looks wonderful. The cover reminds me of the old Hercules Universal magazine back when they used to do travel themed issues. It is too bad they got a really great model, but you cannot really see Clément's face clearly in the cover, but a great one nonetheless.
