The Official Men's Magazine Thread

I don't want to clutter up the board by posting news of UK men's magazines that usually attract a few replies, so I don't post news at all. But a rolling thread for Esquires, GQs, Arenas and any selected one-off issues of other men's magazines with fashion models on the cover, I'd be a happy contributor. We've been suggesting this for some time, so maybe it's time to try it, and see how it works.

I see it as working the same efficient way as the Asian magazine thread, a place for news, views, requests and scans. The men's magazine meta-world.

I guess 2nd pic post #1 is an ad, actually ^_^

Great thread! I'm totally fine with thread name as Men's Magazine thread. I have always think GQ and Esquire etc as men's magazine like as Cosmopolitan and Glamour as women's magazine. Never think that men's and women's mags has nothing to do with style. The magazines like l'uomo vogue, details, mens vogue etc are style mags for me, not men's magazine. Men's mags have girls.. but I guess it depends where you from, how you think this :flower:

And back to topic:
Daniel Craig is cover in GQ UK December 2007

Those Sarah Michelle Gellar pics little bit better quality
(justjared.com)
Sarah Michelle Gellar strikes a sexy pose in a lace bra, high-waisted pants, red suspenders and fingerless gloves on the December issue of Maxim.
The 30-year-old actress tells Maxim that girls are no holds barred when it comes to fighting: “Chicks are dirty — hair pulling, scratching. Guys have guy codes. They don’t sucker-punch. They don’t punch in certain areas. Anything goes in chick fights. But if anything ever goes down, I think I’ll be OK. I’m pretty scrappy.”
Our readers have been asking us to get you on the cover for years. Why now? Lots of things. I’m 30, and I’m promoting a bunch of different kinds of movies. I like to shake things up every once in a while. It’s good to leave people wanting more, but I don’t want to leave them waiting too long or they’ll lose interest. Besides, how could I not do a Maxim shoot when I have a movie coming out in which I play a p*rn star?
Exactly. In Southland Tales, you’re a p*rn star who is trying to get her own reality show. It’s quite a departure from Buffy. I ran the gamut in the films I made this year. When you think about who should play a p*rn star, don’t I just pop into your mind? The character I play is sort of Arianna Huffington meets Jenna Jameson.
SMG’s issue of Maxim hits newsstands everywhere next Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Kanye West Rocks GQ’s Men of the Year
Kanye West is on one of three separate Men of the Year covers for GQ magazine per USA Today.
The others cover stars are Bill Clinton and Daniel Craig. The issue hit newsstands Nov. 27.
Kanye doesn’t talk about his mother to the magazine, but he does discuss the possibility of marriage to his fiancee, Alexis Phifer.
“I’m just going to go and get married,” Kanye said. “I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. It’s not to prove anything to anyone — it’s for me, for stability in my life, and I’m so happy that I found someone that I really love, that challenges me, that keeps my life interesting, that’s just as crazy as I am.”
