I really loathe that QC cover with Simon Cowell. Hate that his teeth are too white and it looks like he has no lower lip

After reading the other day that he's absolutely obsessed with his own white teeth and giving every contestant new teeth, the cover makes a little more sense to me. But it still makes him look more like Simple Simon than a super-millionaire.

^ Oh wow! Esquire is always trying to spice up their covers in comparison to other men's mags, but this is really exceptionally good! Fabulous(!) choice of cover star, great image of Kim (though I hardly recognize her), and can I just say from a graphic designer's point of view how much I am feeling the positioning of everything as well as the choice of font? Very neat. Now if only this had been in color (not to mention a language I understood!)... Thanks for posting, tarsha!

Amazing cover layouts in #1488! Esquire has always been the first to add a twist to what they do, but that Russian Esquire consistently produces something this sophisticated is surprising, and delightfully so. US Esquire always delivers fun and aesthetically appealing covers like the Robert Downey Jr. one in #1489, but in the end not very reader-friendly ones. Especially in comparison to what I've just seen of Russian Esquire.

Thanks for those Esquire Russia covers, moussemaker. They're so striking! I wish the American version of the magazine would learn a thing or two from them about how to make a clean, attractive magazine cover.



Also, I'm kind of surprised Jared Leto got a cover. I don't think he's done anything of note in a few years (or ever). Does he have a film coming out in January?
