US GQ Style Spring/Summer 2019

It is an unfortunate shot of Virgil, I think Numero Homme did it better for their last F/W 2018 issue when they had him on the cover. The other sad part is that this magazine usually stays on the shelves for quite some time (Until September I believe). While their last cover with Ezra most not the best, it was a nice composition and caught your attention when you looked at.

While their last cover with Ezra most not the best, it was a nice composition and caught your attention when you looked at.

Terribly unfortunate! And yes, he looked somewhat better on that cover, and his best to date is the M Le Monde cover.
I remember how that portrait shot of Ezra drew my attention everywhere I saw it, even as I stood some feet away. It was indeed striking, I think it may have been the dark hair and porcelain skin.

I must say I'm surprised at how wide Louis Vuitton must've cast their net for his collection. It's literally everwhere. While I absolutely loathed it on the runway, I must say I've not seen it look unimpressive in a men's magazine at all. Not once. GQ Taiwan even went so far as to style it as part of their cowboy story and didn't stick out.

But overall I'm very much with @dfl-001 , the stylists behind these men's titles are doing an exceptional job. Better than most of the Vogues and Elles.
