They parted ways with the local publisher and have been working on finding a new one I believe

GQ China to Part Ways With Local Publishing Partner China News Service

GQ China is parting with local publishing partner China News Service. Foreign magazines are required to copublish with a state-owned entity to gain publishing rights in the market.
