Raf is one of the most overrated designers ever, but those NG collections are just so good that could inspire anyone.

It’s crazy to see how good NG was and how bad he’s doing as of late.

What I want to know is what was on his moodboard for the dreadful and terrible train wreck that was the HC FW2013 collection. We are 11years past that crime and I still don’t get how that horror happened…

Looking back, it’s shocking how similar Fendi by KJ is to that collection. I suppose bad dressmaking will always be apparent regardless of the year or designer.

honestly im sure theres an even closer dress to this in burtons collections. main difference is one looks like a piece of clothing with immaculate finishing and the other one looks like cosplay.

This thread has made me realise that most of the time, when some of you say that designer is copying Margiela or McQueen or whatever favourite, it's just your imagination playing games with you.

That tends to happen a lot when your mind actively looks for something... the agenda often finds its ways to fill in the gap for you.
