i like this thread. because sometimes it gives you an opportunity to see who is copying who. it a shame though that some of these companies have huge design teams constantly doing research but cannot seem to come up with new ideas. It seems like Derek Lam is getting a beating for the imitation Chloe collection. (so much for the Perry Ellis award for newest fashion talent). thats why i love the Avant Garde. I didnt see any yoji, rei, or chalayan. interestingly now we see that this industry is littered with people that become successful on Hype and marketing but have very little original talent
