Spikes Gucci and Anne D. comparasion, I made a post on how comerical and Gucci-esque that collection was....no wonder. Anne's usually a bit more original than this, this is is really blatant.

Wow, you caught this one red handed. Jill Stuart more than likely won this auction and duplicated the dress exactly. Total duplication, not inspired but complete duplicate down to every last details. What a thief. Even if she is carrying the vintage dress in her store, why is it in her runway collection with "her name on it" when its a vintage piece that someone ELSE designed and created.

i'm sorry but i do believe those are the same dresses by Jill Stuart.
i don't think she would be stupid enough to make a replica of a dress
she bought in a vintage store. she would change some details.
i believe this is some kind of joke. really.
it happens all the time in the internet.
people post pics of "themselves" saying they look alike some celeb when in reality it's just the pic of the own celebrity.
I think we should give some credit to the designer.
I know copying dresses by other designers is something really common.
But i find this ridiculous. and not possible. So i do believe it's the same dress,
and that some smartass posted in some forum saying it was from a vintage store and that Jill copied it.
I hope you understand what i mean because i'm having a tough time trying to express myself in english.
And no i'm not a jill hardcore fan nor anything.

I know that and i agree. what i said was that i believe that dress
is by Jill Stuart and i find it quite obvious actually.
Someone was trying to make a fool of people by saying that this dress
was bought in a vintage store and i doubt it very much!!!!!!

I don't think that is the same dress if you look at the straps and the flower pattern near the bottem they are different on the two dresses.
