Yes it is your subjective point of view.... We dont know these people so obviously we are all speculating. and everyone has an opinion on this matter based on their own eperiences in life. And pete did not try to hurt kate intentionally, he has issues, which compels him do things that he has no control over. but anyways i am not gonna get into same old thing.

But still, my point stands, I wasn't talking about Pete's responsibility but about Irina's , my point is that after all, intentionally or not , he has certainly hurt her, and if I was in Irina's position I wouldn't be dating someone who has hurt my friend.

I do think that Irina's model potential gets 80 % of the credit, but being associated to Kate was a key factor in her career,that's undeniable, that was a turning point in her career,that's not JUST being related to her appearing in Vogue-Paris but the fact that she was featuring in one of the best selling issue due to Kate's being famous but I guess it doesn't have something to do with Kate's choosing her per se but with Kate being very famous which implies that anyone who revolves around her gets to be in the limelight.

I get the point about the fact that Irina dated Pete before Kate met him but I guess there is a HUGE difference between dating a close friend's ex which doesn't leave any sequel and dating a close friend's ex who has hurt them.Don't tell me 'Oh but Kate has moved on', I would never date my friend's ex if he had hurt/cheated on her.

Besides, there is another difference, Kate was straight up Pete's girlfriend, Irina had obviously lingering feelings while still being friend with Kate, otherwise she wouldn't have been on and off with him, I mean I'm sorry but to me it sounds a bit like 'Hey I'm so your friend while you're with him and once you're over I'll take him back'.There's something about it that doesn't sound fairplay, but that might be just my subjective point of view.

Completly agree with you!Even if Kate didn´t discover Irina,she has helped her a lot and you all know that Kate Moss has a HUGE influence in the whole fashion world!Without Kate,Irina would be a model,okay,but not a very popular model.Of course you can say that it´s not forbidden for Irina to date Pete,but it´s a bad behaviour in my opinion,a very bad behaviour.

She isn't 'friends' and probably never has been just 'friends' with Pete,there probably always has been a certain level of lingering feelings involved or else they would't have got back together that quickly , she has/or more like has had a different relationship with both and I don't think Kate and Irina were just acquaintances (but they were not best friends. you're right), they probably got to know each other quie a lot due to Pete.I don't think she should have 'chosen' Kate but then she shouldn't have pretended to be all 'friends' with her, you don't do that kind of thing if it's just to backstab them once they're over.It just sounded a bit hypocrital in my sense 'Hey, I like you a lot but once you're over with your boyfriend he's mine'.It just seems contradictory to me . If somehow, you have lingering for a friend's boyfriend and he happens to have hurt her, then clearly you can go past the point of caring for them so you don't basically have to pretend you like them and all.

it's kind of like if your good friend/ex boyfriend went out with some girl.. and you became kind of friends with her, when they break up - you don't owe anything to her! there's no "best-friend-no-ex-boyfriends-pact". if anything, irina had him first, so she has the complete right to get back with him. he is single, he didn't dump kate for irina, he was dumped! kate's moved on majorly... as if he can't get back with his old girlfriend when things change. you cant write off someone in your life just because they might have "hurt" somebody else you know.

also, i don't think irina "stabbed her in the back"...who out there cant say they might have had some lingering, fond feelings towards an ex, but you'll still be nice to their new date and try to be friends with them! you wont be a total b*tch, especially if you care for your ex, youll want to remain on good terms. she might not have always secretly loved pete the entire time he and kate were dating, she probably wasnt sitting there sighing with unrequited love the entireeee time, just pretending to be friends with kate. maybe she didnt even know how she felt ! just like every other girl on the planet when it comes to love.

Aaah Hotaru, you do not know anything about this situation as do anyone else on this thread. It's all speculations, and it somewhat provokes me that you are so certain about Kate as the broken hearted and betrayed friend. Maybe Pete never really loved Kate. Or maybe the fact that they are apart now will help him stay sober and make him write even greater music. Maybe Kate gave them her blessing? I understand you don't like Pete or Irina (?) but come on. You don't have the true answers, it's just a bunch of speculations for all of us.
