The reason for Amy Winehouse’s change of heart regarding her friendship with Pete Doherty may just have become clear: a source has told the Sunday Mirror that the Babyshambles star confessed her fancied her, gave her a kitten and asked for a kiss shortly before Christmas.
The source explained that Amy had invited him to her new flat in Bow, East London for a pre-Christmas get-together and Pete couldn’t resist telling her about his feelings: “Pete has had a thing for Amy for a while. When Pete falls for someone, he gets completely lost in the moment.”
“He said he couldn’t stop himself from telling Amy he fancied her. But he’s upset that he made her cry. Pete said Amy burst into tears when he revealed his feelings and said she was in love with her husband Blake.”
“She asked Pete to leave straight away. He did, but he left the kitten behind. Amy’s friends are now taking care of the kitten while she is on holiday and they’ve called it Lucky.”
The source, claiming to be a friend of Pete’s, added that Amy has since refused to answer Pete’s calls and their planned duet may be in jeopardy: “Pete is desperate to contact her because he wants to do some solo work in 2008 and he wants Amy involved. He has a lot of apologising to do.”

Pete Doherty set to tour with the Babyshambles

Rocker Pete Doherty is set to go on tour with his band, Babyshambles, only months after their ambitious arena tour left them broke.
Pete, 28, and his bandmates are believed to have lost thousands of dollars after playing eight big venues late last year, including a half-empty opening night at Manchester’s MEN Arena.
Pete’s rep, however, denied reports that the band lost money on the gigs, but insiders claim they’re doing a theater tour so soon to make up for a shortfall.
The source said: “Paying their support acts, hiring articulated lorries for their gear and staff costs have left them at a loss.
“On their next tour they will stick to the smaller venues they are used to filling out.”
A spokesman for the band confirmed: “Babyshambles are going on tour this year - it’s something they have been planning for a while.”

I am really worried about him.He wanted to marry Kate last summer and now he´s dating a 19 year old teenager.First of all,I think she´s a bit too young for him and secondly she looks NOTHING like Kate Moss.
Even Irina was a better catch than her.
I can´t understand why the press is always trying to find a "better version of Kate Moss".

Pete Doherty prefers movies to drink and drugs


British rocker Pete Doherty has revealed he prefers to cozy up to a good movie rather than go out drinking with pals.
Writing in his blog from a hotel room in Barcelona the Babyshambles frontman, 28, writes about his new, more placid lifestyle: “I was in bed by 3, watching Watership Down and working on some new songs.”
And rather than sample the nightlife of the Spanish city, he went to a “trinket market” and snapped up a nice crucifix.
But as he was letting his fans know about his fascinating day, he didn’t realize that he’d left the bath running.
He adds: “S**t. Pesky internet. Forgot about my bath and just flooded the bathroom.
“Oh dear. Oh dear oh deary lordy be. Ankle deep.”
