The shopping experience - why do you hate it ?

when something you really want doesn't fit, and something you really like doesn't work on you. =(

I dislike very crowded stores and music so loud it makes it difficult to talk, in particular. Besides that I don't especially care for snotty sales people and stores that only carry sizes for obese people.

Usually sales people. :( I understand they also can have bad days but always.. Luckily in Promod -where i shop a lot- they are very nice. ^_^

Crowded stores, annoying people, unfriendly or pushy salespeople, not enough fitting rooms...

sales ppl should be nice though huh!

i don't like it when some sales people are really pushy and also if you don't want to buy anything, they aren't that nice to you anymore .

well for me, lol, i like trying on heaps of things! and i don't like leaving a mess in the change room after i try them all on, i have to put them all neatly back on the hangers, so it takes me so twice as long to get out of the change rooms! :P

but when i go out dancing my whole room is in a whirlwind of clothes :P and i just leave it until i come home....... it's crazy :D

too hot, too crowded, too messy shops is my biggest hate.

The music.:yuk: Whoever thought that blasting techno in my ears would encourage me to drop some cash is dead wrong.

the worst thing about going out shopping is spending hours looking for something and not finding anything. omg, it's so annoying when it happens. makes it so much quicker and easier to just shop online.

^^
Here shops playing techno music sell way different clothes than my style so i never enter. ;)

Pretty much same. Sales people are usually snobby and rude OR very friendly (perhaps too friendly and pushy ).

Oh, and also what Janal said. I'm usually picky and I think nothing looks good on me, so shopping can take forever.

waaa thats the worst!

and I hope H&M (:innocent:) is looking at this...CROWDED, MESSY STORES!!

^ Oh yeah, H&M.. it was awful last time! >.< A lot of customers and 2 cashiers.. O.o

i dislike it when you hit your funnybone when trying on clothes in some change rooms because they try and save space by making them EXTRA small(or squeazing more than there should be) Grrr why do some shops do this? they should all be nice and spaciouse!

it just ruins my shopping day when im trying to but a top on and i bang my funny bone half way, ive still got the top over my eyes and i want to jump around and wail in pain!

i hate shopping in winter. it gets so cold here, so you have to wear tons of clothes to stay warm outside, but when you get inside to a store.. your sweating like little pig, you don't wanna spent much time in the store and fitting is disaster. you have to undress so many clothes and then dress those all over again :/

another is that if something doesn't fit. you though you lost some weight and when you go to store, the damn clothing still doesn't fit. it's really depressing

oh and people who don't know how to walk! they just wonder around and when you try to pass them, they just stick in front of you making it impossible to pass. this is esp. annoying during the wintertime

When the change rooms are under lock & key, and you want to try something on, but can't find an available SA. I wanted to get a pair of jeans, but was unsure of the sizing, and got tired of waiting so I just dropped the jeans and left. SAs are supposed to wait on ME, not the other way around.

That's not true...they are not your slaves...when they are helping other people who came BEFORE you, you HAVE to wait! I think it's very rude and selfish of customers who believe that they are the most important thing in the world and don't care for other shopping customers and the SAs who help them

But they get paid to do that. I think it's in the employer's best interest to hire more SAs so that more customers can be attended to. If more customers are helped, there's a more likely chance someone will purchase something.

An alternate approach would be simply unlocking the change rooms and hiring an extra security guard at the exit (if loss prevention is such a major problem to warrant locking change rooms.) I would have tried the jeans on, if they fit I would go to the cashwrap and purchase them, or taken a different size, etc.

I know there is no real getting round it, but I hate trying on clothes in shops. It just seems like such a hassle to get undressed and dressed again in each shop.
I also hate changing room lights which are nearly always too bright and really unflattering. I actually think my clothes usually look more flattering in natural/at home light.

Racks that are packed with clothes so that if you touch them either several items fall off, or there are so many different items on a rack that it is impossible to properly look at each.

I hate it when they only have really small or big sizes.
