I've read rave reviews about Shu Uemura's eyelash curler and cleansing oil in several magazines. What is your opinion on these products?

I'm going to Paris in December and I'm compiling a "beauty must-haves" list of stuff that's not available in my country, but I'm trying not to become bankrupt in the process...:P

I have the eyelash curler & love it!! A zillion times better than the Revlon I was replacing

I've had the same question for a long time. I always heard makeup artists and magazines recommending it. I've always thought about buying the eyelash curler, maybe next time I stop by Sephora.

The eyelash curler is great! I bought one for my sis and it gives her a really good grip on her lashes.

I have nothing but the best things to say about the cleansing oil.
I use the green tea version - I am not sure if that is available in France.
It takes all the guke right off your face and it's very moisturising when I use it on days when I am not wearing makeup.
Plus it has really helped in clearing my skin up a lot, no worries about using it at all even if you have oily skin!

There's a shu emura oil cleanser thread..:flower:
T. LeClerc is a french label with great foundation and powder - you might want to look into that as well..

I'm thinking of buying the eyelash curler... The cleansing oil sounds great too, and at good value but I'm not sure I really need it fo my skin right now.

I love their stuff, especially the cleansing oil, Depsea Equiwater, and the Moisture Recovery Emulsion.

Plus they have some great shades of nail polish and it's very long lasting.

the eye shadows are great.
the basic mascara is great for using as your first coat of mascara. doesn't clump and helps seperate lashes.
i want to try more things, but the closest store is in SF

Oh I nearly forgot.. their waterproof foundation with SPF..it stays and stays..coincidentally..the besy way to take it off is with the Cleansing Oil

SU Basic Mascara is great if you want to have a natural look. It holds a curl quite well and is waterproof (there was only one version of it in Taiwan, only saying it's WP on the inside paper... the outer packaging didn't, so that was confusing when I asked for the WP version, however, it works...).

The e/s and blushes are supposed to be great too, so check out the colors!

i cannot love without the Lash Repair. before using this, my lashes would fall out all the time, but when i got this, that never happened. it's a great mascara base too.

i also have the eyelash curler, which is awesome. i bought it ages ago before the big price inflation for $12 or $13.

i currently use the depsea equiwater toner and emulsion. i'm not too fond of it because there is this heavy fragrance and it's not oil-free which really bothers me. i know that other people love it, so i guess it's based on you own personal preference.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEY SRUFF

I've heard amazing things about the Shu curler too, but I guess I just dont get it... what's so great about it, exactly? I mean, obviously it's better than the cheap $3 plastic ones you get at a drugstore, but what makes SHU the best, better than MAC, for example?

And oh, can someone tell me more about the cleansing oil??? Sounds phenomenal.

Shu has the best eyeshadows, I love them so much. The color is wonderful, they're so soft and pigmented and blend like a dream. Shu I feel is one of those overall good companies.
