The Strokes' guitarist Nick Valensi, 25, and his new wife Amanda de Cadenet, 34, are expecting twins. The babies will join older half sister Atlanta, 14, from Amanda's previous marriage to Duran Duran's John Taylor. You can view photos from Amanda's pregnancy photo shoot with Hello! Magazine at Oh No They Didn't.
The twins will be the second and third Strokes babies. Bassist Nikolai Fraiture has a child, supposedly a daughter called Elysia, with his wife Ilona.

^I don't really understand why she would want to talk to a magazine like Hello! I mean they don't probably pay that well..
Maybe I'm just jealous but Amanda and Nick seem like a odd couple to me..

I'm a twin and I've heard from my mom how hard it is having twins so I don't envy her! I'm sure they'll be gorgeous ;)
I'm going to see them play in about 1 week! I almost can't believe it...Actually I DEFINITELY can't believe it! Can't wait! :bounce:

i read that Hello magazine article. like they always do, they featured like 100 pages on the story :lol: basically it said nick and amanda have been together for 5 years and they wanted to get married since the last 2 years. it also said they got married in the bahamas and it was just the two of them. amanda is quite scared of having the twins..as you would be. she also said nick is an old soul :):heart:

oh and i'm seeing next in concert in a week :D
 
I recently saw them at the wireless fest in london. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY PERRRFECTT! I was front row and julian couldn't have danced better.. he seemed so happy and he was smiling the whole time.. I don't know,, the group seemed so complete their energy amazed me.. everyone seems to hate nick's new cleaveges but i kinda like them he stands out the most:P but he wass soooo skinny my god! fab was like a lil kid he jumped around and even tap danced at some point! it was the best best day of my life,...

prayign they will play alone together and barely legal
