I recently saw them at the wireless fest in london. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY PERRRFECTT! I was front row and julian couldn't have danced better.. he seemed so happy and he was smiling the whole time.. I don't know,, the group seemed so complete their energy amazed me.. everyone seems to hate nick's new cleaveges but i kinda like them he stands out the most but he wass soooo skinny my god! fab was like a lil kid he jumped around and even tap danced at some point! it was the best best day of my life,...

Brand new album features special guests

The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. has revealed plans to release his first solo record.

The 10 track album - 'Yours To Keep' - features an all star cast including Sean Lennon, Fountains Of Wayne's Judy Porter, Ben Kweller, Mikki James, Sammy James Jr. and band manager Ryan Gentles.

The album was recorded at New York's Electric Ladyland Studios with Josh Lattanzi on bass and Matt Romano on drums.

Former Thin Lizard Dawn vocalist Greg Lattimer has produced the album.

The track listing for 'Yours To Keep' is:

'Everyone Gets A Star'
'Call An Ambulance'
'Blue Skies'
'Back To The 101'

I saw them on friday night at their sydney show, they were fanatastic!! I loved every second of it. They are the best band i have ever seen , i wish i was rich and could just follow them around and go to all their shows! I am just so in love with them

i agree, the selection of songs they played was great, i loved that piano-esque thing nick played in ask me anything...

I like alberts solo stuff, i was very surpirised to hear that he is such a good singer!
