The Ultimate Designers List...

I have an idea where we could setup a tool where all members can add designers to our "super list" of designers. Then over time it will become this huge list of designers from obscure to mainstream. We can then create a tool to link fellow members by designers they like, don't like, wear, etc. We can make a list of celebrities and link them also...

We could create a cool graph that would show trends over time.

What do you all think of an idea like this? Would it be neat to have? Would it be of any value to you all?

Sounds really complex to me, but if you can pull it off, please do. It'd be great to simply have a list of designers and links to their official websites. Some are difficult to find. But yeah...anyway, that definitely sounds cool.
