If they got married right now, it would be a shotgun wedding, but they did seem in love even before the pregnancy. Hopefully, if they do get married it will not only be due to the fact that she is pregnant. I would LOVE to see those wedding pics! She would look so beautiful. I remember when she was planning her wedding to Adam, she said she wanted to ride into the ceremony on an elephant. I don't think elephants are a safe mode of transportation for expectant mothers.

LYNWOOD, Calif. - Nicole Richie was released from jail Thursday, just 82 minutes after the pregnant TV reality star checked in for what started out as a 90-hour sentence for driving under the influence of drugs.
The reality show star, who checked into jail in this Los Angeles suburb at 3:15 p.m., was released at 4:37 p.m. "based on her sentence and federal guidelines," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Maribel Rizo said without elaborating.
When asked whether Richie spent her brief sentence in a jail cell, Rizo replied: "No further comment."

LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) A pregnant Nicole Richie checked into jail Thursday to serve a 90-hour sentence for driving under the influence of drugs. She was arrested in December after California Highway Patrol officers found her parked car turned in the wrong direction on a freeway, authorities said.
The reality show star entered a county jail for women in this Los Angeles suburb shortly after 3 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Johnie Jones said.
It's the same facility that housed her "The Simple Life" co-star Paris Hilton for nearly three weeks after she was convicted of driving on a suspended license while on probation for an alcohol-related reckless driving case.
Richie's arrival at jail was first reported by The Insider.

wtf, one minute I was looking at yahoo main page and the headline said she went to jail today to serve her 90 hour sentence, the next time I look back it says she's been released??

Thursday afternoon, mom-to-be, Nicole Richie, surrendered to law enforcement officials in Los Angeles.
She’s currently resting comfortably far away from all the other convicts. Her stay in the country club is expected to last only 2 days, four max.
Too bad she won’t be bunking with Lindsay! That hoe will be locked up in a couple of months.

Just 82 minutes after Nicole Richie checked herself into Lynwood jail, she left a free woman. Hard time her ***!

According to the official website of the L.A. Sheriff's Dept., Richie checked in at 3:15 PM and was released at 4:37 PM. She was assigned to a cell for only 35 minutes! It takes longer to watch an episode of "The Simple Life" ... and it's more painful!

A Sheriff's source tells TMZ Nicole was routinely processed and released according to normal operating rules.

One of the more brilliant moves by Nicole's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, who snuck Nicole in and out while everyone was focused on Lindsay. Well played!

TMZ has received a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department regarding the 82-minute incarceration of Nicole Richie:

On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today.

pregnant or not. and im sorry if that sounds mean.
but she did this before she was pregnant, it just sucks that she found out she was pregnant after/before the sentence was set.
either way, i think she should still serve all 90 hours.

Lindsay better be charged for at least 45 days.Paris sentence seems so fair when I see what's happenning with and Nic and Linds these days.She's a cool girl and I'm sure she won't get caugh with D.U.I again but she should have been in jail a little longer IMO.
