Tim Burton's CORPSE BRIDE...

we have a thread on tim burton in the favourites or the spot, where i posted a picture from the corpse bride some time ago:flower:

is the fashion daily the right place for this?

^^that's the trouble with MEGA threads...
things get lost anna....:ermm:

the only other place for this would be the spot i guess...
but there is a lot of 'STYLE' in this film so that's why i put it here...
and it seems to have gotten a good response, no>?

de nada:)
So I saw it yesterday (it was a special preview) and I LOVED it! If you liked Nightmare before Christmas I think it's safe to say you'd like The Corpse Bride. Tim Burton is a genius! Very cute movie
:flower:

I just love Tim Burton beyond all words. I definetily have to see this. And then buy the dvd.
I can't see the trailer on my computer; I can hear the sounds but there's no picture at all! Now I'm depressed.

Hey, where are you, my loyal fans? It's Monday! The Corpse Bride has already been out for four days! I actually saw it on Saturday afternoon, and well, it was spectacular. Very beautifully Burton-ish, and therefore, pretty good. Plus, the music was done by Danny Elfman, who also did the Nightmare Before Christmas. SO if you haven't seen it, you have missed out on some good, romantic, humorous, and artisitic cinematic perfection. Go!

Have you ever seen Vincent, the stop motion animation Tim did while he was still with Disney? It was his first film, it's five minutes long ( or even shorter) and it has Vincent Price as the narrator. Is the Corpse Bride anything like that ?

No, I never saw that, but I have heard about it, I think. Is that the one that Disney refused to show, because it was too morbid or something? I would really like to see it. Do you know how I can get a hold on it?

If you buy / rent / borrow the new extended edition of "Nightmare Before Christmas" (well, it's about two years old) then you'll find "Vincent" as one of the extras :flower:

I didn't think "Vincent" was morbid (well perhaps borderline morbid  ), it was just cute and strange  Viktor in the "Corpse Bride" looks a lot like the character of "Vincent" ^_^ but I don't know whether there are any similarities between the two other than that :flower: Can't wait to see the Corpse Bride :bounce:
