i've just come from a design store here in vancouver and one of his books was on display. a massive book. i had heard his name, but was unfamiliar with his work. however, flipping through the pages, i simply fell. in. love.

he, along with Paolo Roversi, Steven Klein and perhaps Bruce Weber - are the most evocative, mood-setting photographers that i can think of. i am completely in love with Tim Walker's work. his images conjure up a fantasy world, but one that is completely real and conceivable. one that allows you true escapism, because you can dare to imagine yourself in his world. the photographs blow me away!

how amazing would it be, to be in that group of people, sitting in their cars in the water, watching a movie on that big makeshift screen?!! HEAVEN!

it would be a model's dream to work with him. and he seems to really love quirky models with distinct personalities (Stella, Lily, Sasha, etc)

he is fashion's Tim Burton, for certain.
