Thanks for posting the Neiman Marcus ss05 catalog Wicked Halo:flower:, I remember all those shots, one of my fav seasons, love that YSL shot in the yellow dress when shes sitting in the compact:heart:

Sometimes I feel Tim's work doesn't get appreciated enough. I find the whimsical aspects of his photos are much more definitive but can carry strong as well.

His W editorial is just brilliant and more so with Tilda ^_^.

Walker really has an incredible eye for balance - he knows when to keep the set simple and to let the clothes and the styling speak, and he manages to do this without the viewer losing interest; due to the use of light and the concentration on the single character, the images above are as if holy icons. However, Walker also knows when the set is absolutely perfect for the clothes and in his surreal, ethereal trademark manner he can unite the two.
He may stand out because of his magnificent shoots and locations, but that is not what makes him great - it's the necessary balance.

re: Mechanical Dolls - Vogue Italia October 2011

This is phenomenal! Others who try to pull off this look of model as doll or mannequin hardly ever reach their mark.
This edit does in so many ways!
Kudos to the stylist, the make-up team, the digital retouch people and of course, the talented Mr Walker!
Thank you for this beautiful post tentalicious!
