Oh wow, thank you so much Marc10. This is a fantastic addition to Pictures, I forgot how much I just adore his recent work. ^_^ And such an amazing hardcover!

Dang!! I told myself, "no more books!," but I might have to get this. :innocent: Thanks for sharing, Marc10! :flower:

SOLD! Thank you Marc10! That's the greatest way to preview a new book you're not sure about.
Publishers should get into this.

It is actually brimming with holiday cheer in such a unique, partially unsettling way. It's definitely majestic and I really hope this isn't the last time we see Marion+Tim. I love it!

The W edit is so charmingly creepy, I absolutely love it, Marion kills it:heart:. Too bad this one isnt in the book but still I must get my hands on a copy asap.:D

Somerset House Show= Divine And Free!

Going to the Tim Walker exhibition sponsored by Mulberry at Somerset House next week, can't wait!

Saw it today, really really lovely , and there are even some of the giant props inside the rooms, the giant doll, giant snail, puppet etc. Lovely touch to make it that much more feerique and a great eye opener for those like me who wondered as to whether those props were real, they are indeed!!!:woot:

^ One of the many reasons I love his work so much...he has stated that there has been no photoshop changes to any of his works. As you can imagine, a lot of work goes into every frame! Massive props and sets; I love how he uses traditional photography techniques in order to get the whimsical shots...truly inspiring for any young photographers

I really loved his exhibition. It was ethereal, outlandish and a bit freaky. The big doll at the end really did freak me out as did the snails on the ceilings. The props definitely added a lot to the exhibition.

The edito from Vogue UK february 1999 called Road Trip was my first interest on Tim Walker. I felt it was sensational.
