TJ Maxx / TK Maxx

^ Please report back.

I went to one in St. George, UT on my way back to Los Angeles a couple of days ago... NOTHING... though I'm not surprised. The bigger city locations have the best selection in general.

The TK Maxx where i live is usually really bland and boring with brands such as CK & Roxy loitering the rails! I popped in today to waste some time and they have this new section called Gold Label and it has sooo many designers my face was literally = O ! I found Jil Sander, Celine, Prada, Lanvin, M Kors, Sooo much Versace and D&G, Pucci, Stella Mc, Mcqueen, Valentino... I think i will go back tomorrow

omg this sound amazing. shame none of the stores that do it are near me...

I've seen the gold label section at the Manchester store....they had some AMAZING dresses, a lot of Versace and Missoni....and the shoes were even better, lots of Prada, Fendi etc

Lanvin?? So jealous, that's simply unfair!

There is a tkmaxx near Bank station which had the gold label section - some really stunning pieces the last time I went. I tried on a Giambattista Valli skirt for £40 - insanely cheap!

Hit up some Final Clearance, or Yellow Stickers, today! Found some Susanna Monaco pants for $10, Theory cropped pants for $15, and other assorted goodies.

Lanvin?? So jealous, that's simply unfair!

Oh, MY, no kidding!

It's yellow sticker time at my TJ's. I didn't find anything great but stocked up on summer blouses, dresses and jewelry (super cheap). I so wish I had a runway store close to me during the final clearance sales.

i've bought a bunch of philosophy 3 in one body washes etc. at marshalls/tj maxx. they are only 3$-10 cheaper than sephora however

It's yellow sticker time at my TJ's. This week I've seen alice + olivia, theory, vince, magaschoni, Rebecca Taylor, cole haan, etc... marked way down. I don't think they've done the "final" markdown yet (at least at mine).

I got a star print See by Chloé dress yesterday... for $59 I think... yellow sticker.
I had bought another really cute See by Chloé LBD but the fit wasn't perfect and I didn't need it to the effect that I would move forward with alterations... so I took that one back today. It had black velvet straps with little gold buttons and velvet bow details on the back (it looks better than i'm describing, i swear )

I also got a nice Rebecca Taylor black blazer on sale for $89
I don't currently have a "go to" black blazer, but I'm hoping this will turn out to be just that for me.

Yellow Sticker time! Woohooo! I've since moved to the Omaha area (there goes the nice designer items of Los Angeles) but I'll have to be sure to stop in one of these days before the good stuff gets scooped up (it probably already has).

Thanks to couturecouture for stopping in, and ChrissyM, to remind me/us that it's yellow sticker time!

we have an TK Maxx in my hometown for about 2 years now. i still havent been in. from the outside it looks like some cheap-store with cheap items.
it surprises me tFs has a thread for that store.

edit: and i am really surprised people in this thread say TK Maxx has designer stuff?!
 maybe the one in my hometown is an exception? i think i need to go inside that store asap!

okay, so i went into my local TK MAXX and there were only older people in. i mean 40+ years. I then looked through the clothes and bags. the clothes are what my grandma would wear, i don´t know how else to describe it. the bags weren´t lovely too. the best brand i saw was juicy couture and esprit.

TK MAXX wont be a store I´ll heat into for shopping.

^^yeah i think it really depends on your location... even in the US the locations can be hit or miss...

stores in affluent towns have higher end stuff...
typically they reflect the demographic of the people around there

not sure how they figure that out for europe

well i dont live in a city with people wearing designer clothes. we got some designer and expensive stores, but you rarely see someone with a real louis vuitton or other designer bag or clothes around.

^that could be part of it then...
if the demand is low then they won't supply it...

in the US they also have "runway" sections at selected stores with last season items from high end designers...
so i've seen lots of chloé, see by chloé, marc jacobs, valentino, prada, etc etc at a few of my local tjmaxx stores in addition to brands like rag & bone, elizabeth & james, alice + olivia...

^yes! I'm lucky enough to live close to their corporate offices, and the store right near there usually has a lot of great stuff ^_^

it can definitely still be hit or miss but i've gotten some really fantastic things there.
