Thanks very much for posting, Runner:-)
I am keeping my eyes "closer" on Undercover. Do you know how good they are in Europe after showing in Paris?

you're welcome nqth.
I don't know well. please explain.

he means are people responding well to his work in Europe since showing in Paris? Sales-wise,I'm assuming. I know alot of shops there are picking up alot of his pieces.

Thanks for that article,Runner. I'd hate to contradict, but that whole appeal of dressing has been going on for ages amongst indie's. I don't understand how "mixing" is such a new thing. And to comment about Prada and her stupid little robots...how victimy :P

this article is terrible, I agree. how can you say nothing in so many words? that takes talent.

Exactly, thanks Scott:-)
I am sorry for my english. I was trying to say too much in too little words:-)

And I don't get this.

The new avant-garde is about strong, structured pieces, grabbing attention without overshadowing the identity of the wearer — instead bringing personality forward. Think Comme des Garcons, Boudicca, or Pierre Cardin (back in vogue) top paired with jeans (a trend going nowhere soon).

Is Piere Cardin *top* in again:-P, and is the new avant-garde (aka the top with jeans:-) going nowhere soon :-)

going nowhere soon...meaning it's hear to stay for awhile...it's very bad english...so it's not only you having trouble understanding that...

Thanks Softgrey:-)
I thought it is "heading to nowhere", means "useless" :-)

Scott, today I was supposed to visit Cosmic Wonder store, but missed the chance,
because, at Lift etage, I was so absorbed in talking that I almost forgot the passage of time, again. sorry.

Can't wait!

BTW, I talked to the guys at A., and they did want Sartoria, but as usual, Maurizio wanted a special display for the line (a satellite  ), and they just don't have room for it - the shop is pretty small.

slightly good tidings, faust
although I'm not 100% certain, Maxfield seems to be an agency for Sartoria.

and just found Mastermind beaded cardigan (for women) from AW/04.

gorgeous! my wife would love that. runner, you are making me want to go visit my relatives in Los Angeles for Christmas (meaning to check out Maxfield during the sale season  ).

omg...i want to go live inside the cosmic wonder store...
i think that i would really like to live in a store...actually ...just one big closet...but really beautifully set up...

You know, that's exactly what sprung to my mind,Soft! That space reminds me of one big closet. The clothes sticking out of the drawers--the entire composition of those displays are amazing;realistic. It reminds me of my own bedroom

Scott, it sells in whole, if you need.

for once, Yukinori behind CW has gone into the movies, as film stylist, costume designer, and actor.
you can check that in this movie entitled "王様の子供" meaning King's child (it's named so on purpose. not prince, btw).
directed by Shinji Maeda
