Scott, I failed to find that.
is there any store carrying some vernacular films nearby?
are you interested in Yukinori's band named "tokeidai (meaning clock tower)"?
its CD was available as an appendix to a magazine "here and there".

then you can see recent conditions of Susan Cianciolo & him in the current issue.

Runner,I am terribly sorry. I get so distracted by the designer's board sometimes I forget the others.

Anyway,I don't know if that film would be so accessible anywhere where I live as I live in highly deprived banality and oppression. i.e. not very worldly and culturally aware these people are. But I could check out Amazon or something. I wish they'd get that book of CW their Japanese affiliate has...if just by import.

Thank you for the links. I think I might be interested in this for certain. Elein Fleiss contributes? Cool. Looks like the next Composite, doesn't it? And I love Susan Cianciolo too! Besides Jurgi Persoons, she's been one of my heroes of fashion. Too bad, technically, she's no longer designing.

interesting to learn about the difference btw tokyo and osaka...i had no idea...

Neither did I.

But I suppose that's only because us Westerners rarely hear or see much about Osaka like Tokyo.

I want to go to Kyoto. Also, I read in Haruki Murakami's book that there is a town upnorth (don't remember the name) in Japan where deer walk around the streets (they are considered sacred)! :woot:

this is totally OT, but yeah, thats Nara (city). The deer roam like they're tourists themselves just milling in the park and in the streets. i got my bag eaten by one T_T

but back to the topic a little, osaka is a fun place to see, but i have to admit tokyo's where it's at...

thanks for your feedback misahoi... :flower:

I heard the Dior Homme store was located in the basement of this building? I might have to check it out if I get to visit Tokyo next summer. How is Dior Homme pricing in Tokyo compared to the U.S.?

That's an amazing building, btw.

Dior homme is usually slighty more expensive I believe, but it looks like the selection is better. How much more expensive depends on the item.

Does the dior homme ever go on sale?

Thanks for the info Runner,
I will defintely check out the sale at UA when i come.

If someone could reccomend a really nice, high class place for sushi in Tokyo that would be greatly appreciated.

Its really too bad about beige... I wanted to have dinner there

Raijin, Beige takes reservation for lunch, but you have to phone them. It looks like internet reservation is for dinner only.
