Daria is far from a questionable choice but it's indeed weird that they took Toni off the list and not some of the other models on there...

I generally think it's a long overdue move to shorten (all of their) lists. It's okay to move Toni when the Icons List is for people like Freja or Iselin. However, Daria and Constance for example, no matter how much I like both of them, are on Toni's level in my opinion. I don't see how any of them has more "iconic" work than Toni atm and also in the long run. But maybe I don't follow their careers well enough.

Following her recent appointment as the face of Cartier's new High Jewellery collection, Gerrman model Toni Garrn has turned to acting.

The 24 year old will soon be seen in a thrilling new short film 'The Shift' which she co-wrote, produced and acted in. Directed by Italian star photographer and director Mayk Azzato and sponsored by Escada, Diesel and several other brands, the Arthouse road movie focuses on the topics of Art & Lifestyle.

A teaser clip for the film was released recently in which Toni appears wearing eye catching outfits from Escada against a breathtaking scenery of Beverly Hills. 'I wanted to go with this kind-Project together with Toni Garrn who has co-written content intensively on the script in a different direction,' Azzato said of the film.

Garrn has been working with the acting coach Bernhard Hiller since 2014. She played a supporting role in the 2014 independent film Under the Bed, directed by Steven C. Miller.

'The Shift' does not have a release date as yet but is expected to released soon and has an open ending whose interpretation is entirely left to the audience.
