On top of the absolutely terrific cover and the genius of putting John Waters on an issue celebrating Good Taste, it's refreshing to see a magazine promise "legends" and actually deliver. I immediately know I'm going to read the pieces on not just John, but Martha Stewart, Tina Turner, and Norman Foster.

I love John Waters and I want to love this, but I don't.
It looks staged and stiff, and that's not what I think of when I think of John.
He doesn't look like he's having fun with this.

I like it, genius subject choice for an issue on good taste and surprising considering the magazine in general has a very posh image.
