Travel Guide : North & South Korea

I have to say - the so called war on terror does encourage people to listen to a lot of untrue bullsh*t.

I found the food quite tough at first (not a kimchi fan), but I'm used to it now.

i guess george bush calling north korea "the axis of evil" did not exactly help the image either.. :ninja: since a lot of people in europe/america have no idea that south and north koreas are considered as two different countries now..

My goodness, people are so paranoid and sheltered about any place besides Europe or America. Geez, South Korea is a fabulous place and very metropolitan. It's not like going to the heart of the Iraq war or anything. Most people there can speak at least some english. They are very very welcoming and polite. It's not UNSAFE or life threatening to be there. Of course you have to be careful but it's not like walking in a land mine. The food is AMAZING and in general the place is very SANITARY.

THANK YOU! :flower:

S. korea is ranked as world's 13th largest economy, and Seoul is ranked as world's largest city. (it varies from year to year, but most of the time its always in the top 5)

Not a lot of people know much about Korea, but its a safe/clean place to live, very high tech, very metropolitan like cocomonkey said
We also have 5000+ years of history so if anyone is interested.. I could go on and on... :innocent:
