Trends You Are Sick Of...

It's been an ongoing trend for a while and it's becoming more and more common, but it's gotten to the point I almost blackout with rage anytime I see a Labubu. Consumerism aside, it's just the fact they're so ugly. The way they just looking at you with that stupid grin, standing there menacingly... I feel my blood rising and my lifespan diminishing.

okay, maybe i'm just being dramatic, but i do hate seeing them lol

These knit shirts for the men. I admit, I liked them at first, but they’ve been flooding the menswear market for a smidge too long now.

it gets even worse when this shirt is paired with white linen drawstring trousers and leather sandals/open shoes.

not a trend per se, but since i mentioned, men shouldn't be seen in public wearing open shoes of any kind lol

I thought this was just something that the young'uns at the local college communities were getting into, but per Reddit & TikTok, it's nationwide.

These flared yoga pants I see everywhere. It's the most unserious thing someone can wear at school/ work and I absolutely loath them.
One of my staff wears pants like these and I struggle to take her honestly when we’re working together… I’m not yucking someone’s yum but you’re right, they’re laughably unserious pants.

They even seem annoying to wear for yoga, all that flare flapping around. And they just do ungodly things to the thighs and midsections.

Overstyling. Especially on runways but in editorials too - in latter it's attempt to save it from being boring thanks to full look policies. Clothes aren't same as before and there is constant need for novelty, that trickled down to basic style writers even.

I truly miss simpler clothes and actual impactful but simple styling, without maxing off the accessories and other bs to hell.

if I have to see one more ‘essentials’ anything! .. just get in shape, people!

^^^…Getting in shape means making the effort, developing the discipline, controlling the willpower, and most importantly— taking and devoting the time. People are so conditioned to spend money that they may not have for “essentials” for instant gratification-- membership/trainer/gear for their “journey", when they don’t need to spend money on “essentials” at all: Just start by running, then calisthenics— or just simple pushups and crunches; people have no idea how effective jumping rope is in conditioning the entire body (…try wearing weights on your ankles when jumping rope and you won’t ever say it’s a sissy workout). But a list of carefully curated and sponsored expensive “essentials” for a grand delusion of an instant glowup for looksmaxxing content seems to mean a lot more to them than making the effort to work out.

(You know Mullet, whenever Playboy shows another topless blonde Playmate wearing g-string, sneakers and gym socks straddling a bike, it just instantly reminds me that you may just be wearing the exact same gear somewhere, doing her bimbo aerobics workout…)

You know, people like to give the side-eye to the silly high fashion slop, but nothing is more interesting than the real slop that infests the masses— and for years and years: Aging guido bros in denim leggings and oversized tees on bloated, disproportionate bodies; sleeve tats; neckbeards; ugliest gold chains etc etc as derelicts of a bygone Jersey Shore era (…yet I picture Mullet inserted into the scenario somehow: Gloriously hilarious because she’d likely find some enjoyment from it all still— mostly trolling or enraging the guidos and guidettes.)

(The thief looks like what Philip Plein aspires to look like physically…Kind of trashy hot where he stashed the stolen jewelry tho…)

those scrunch leggings that are shaped or molded to a person's crack. the other day i saw a woman wearing a pair that was ruched in the back in a way that made it look like the excess fabric on the leggings was going right up her ***, and i was like, it's 9 am on a weekday, we're on the street, and i don't need to know you like that!
