I don't think it's Anna Paquin as Sookie. I think its just the Sookie character. She's supposed to be slightly irritating I think.

I actually like Anna Paquin although it's a little strange seeing her in this role.
I haven't read the books so let me just get this straight: Godrick is an ancient vampire BOY who molested other BOYS? I hope they don't incorporate that into the series.

Godric still looks boy-ish, but supposedly he's like 19 or something. He was very intriguing...but tiny like an elf-person.

Oh True Blood! I started watching this show with friends as a joke (I loved Buffy!) but I got hooked in season 1.

I read all of the books and just have to say I'm torn about what happens in the show vs the books. I also like the Sookie character far more in the books than TV Sookie. Vice versa with Bill, who I like on TV. And Eric.. it all just needs more Eric

-Metrochic: in the book his name is Godfrey, there´s no Godric who´s Eric´s maker. I was wondering if they´re the same person... but the tv show is going in a different direction than the books so probably they´re going to change that as well.

-PS I love You: I feel the same way, I can´t stand book Bill (because of you know what) I really really hope they won´t change book Eric´s storylines, I can´t wait for them to shoot the contents of book four... In white, to avoid spoilers: I was worried that they won´t reveal that Bill is working for the queen but in a recent episode when Sookie asks Bill if he´s keeping any secrets you can see his making a weird face, so maybe they´ll keep that storyline...

And I really wish Sam addresses Daphne's scars on her back and asks her how she got it, i mean he noticed them so why not ask already?

I know, after I read ~you know what~ I was not happy with Bill. I'll be really mad if they leave that out- it's incredibly important. I already don't like that they changed Eric's maker (it was important that he was changed as a tool for someone else- for someone to control him- in more ways than one, which affected him later).

I was bad and watched the clip: is that Eric with Sookie in bed? looks like a dream though...
Weoui: the books are different, keep in mind that they´re told from Sookie´s point of view. Some things I prefer from the book, others from the show... book one is very similar to season 1, after that all bets are off. The books offer more detailed explanations about certain situations, in that sense they´re better imo
