True Blood

^I think Tara's story line was extremely lame...I mean Tara was haunting her mother to tell her that she is sorry that she didn't shoot her father as a child?

^I think it was more that Tara was sorry that their relationship was crappy because she didn´t shoot her father and then everything went downhill after he left. Like they could have had a loving and normal relationship if only she had killed him. Still doesn´t make much sense cause bottom line is her husband is no longer with her no matter if he´s dead or alive somewhere else

^This is hilarious
By the way I kind of wanted Bill to become a human. Like I thought that Sookie's blood plus the virus would make him a human so they could live a happy life together. Also we don't even know who is Sookie's partner in the end? This episode just simply raises too many questions but I'll try to remember the good parts of the show. ^_^

True Blood Is Getting Revamped
We’re going back to Bon Temps

True Blood, a deliciously campy ghost from HBO’s past, is reportedly getting revamped. According to The Hollywood Reporter, reboot auteur Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (who brought you the new Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) is working on a new version of the hit series about a bunch of vampires sexily skulking around Louisiana. Alan Ball, who created the series and served as its showrunner for five seasons, will reportedly serve as an executive producer. HBO declined to comment on the reboot to the outlet.

Considering the soapy show’s success at the height of its popularity, it’s no surprise that in a post-Game of Thrones world, HBO wants to breathe some fresh life into an old fantasy franchise. True Blood, based on a series of novels by Charlaine Harris, told the story of Sookie (or as Bill would say, “Sookeh!”), a goodie-two-shoes waitress with magical abilities who falls in love with a vampire, the aforementioned Bill. The Emmy-winning show starred Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Rutina Wesley, Bill Skarsgaard, and the late Nelsan Ellis, who played canny scene-stealer Lafayette, far and away the show’s best character. It’s unclear if the new iteration will pick up where the series left off, or reimagine Bon Temps with new characters.

True Blood was an instant hit when it was first released in 2008, notching up to 5 million same-day viewers per episode around the fourth season, THR notes. It carried on for seven seasons as its narrative went increasingly haywire, ending on a series finale in 2014 that stumped and frustrated loyal viewers. Aguirre-Sacasa, who revamped Riverdale and Sabrina into moody teen hits, seems like a perfect fit to reanimate the bloody series all while maintaining its campier elements. Per THR, he’s working on the pilot alongside Jami O’Brien (NOS4A2). In other wait-that’s-happening-so-soon reboot news, Aguirre-Sacasa is also working on a reboot of Pretty Little Liars for HBO Max. Reboots for everyone!

I hope they stick more to the original content, mostly the later seasons...
