Pam tells Sookie that she had lived in London with her parents, and she had a crush on her best friend's cousin. As a human, Pam was wild for her times and was romantic, and bold. Though her parents did not approve of her relationship because they did not consider him as equal in social class. One night she slipped out of her house to meet her friend's cousin. She met Eric on her way back home. He drained her, put her in her bed and after her funeral he dug her up. She left London and moved with him to north of England and eventually left England for the continent. She saw her family only once from a distance about ten years after she died. Pam reveals to Sookie that she has always loved being who she is, though it took Pam some days to understand her true nature.

but they already changed so much about her i doubt they will stick to this story...she also talks swedish with eric sometimes, so maybe in the tv-series she will be someone he met in sweden?!

I can't believe I never even thought to look for a True Blood thread on TFS! So glad I've found another place to discuss my favorite show! I have the box set of books 1-7, but have been restraining myself from reading any of them until after this season is over so I will have something to satisfy my need for a True Blood fix during the looooong wait until season 3 next summer! God I can't wait for tonight's episode! This season has flown by so fast!
