Ah, awesome! Thanks so much for those! Anna looks amazing in the Nylon shoot!

True Blood was great this week! But I missed Eric, one measley scene?! Come oooon we want more! Sookie was less annoying than usual, I think because there was less of the coy head tilting and more action... Bill was less annoying too. I think when they're actually doing something other than pining and moping over each other they're a lot more interesting

evan is the only one they messed up. i had high hopes for her, because i think she's a good actress, but she looks horrible as a vampire and nothing like a "queen".
very disappointed :(
normally they make people look far better than in real life on true blood (at least sam, eric and jason look better on the show imo) but evan looks stupid as a vampire:cry:

and that poster isn't real, right? i think i saw her with that outfit (as little as we see of it anyways) and hair/makeup at some premiere before

Is Andre going to be in next episode? did anyone read something about it? if he is, who´s playing him?
Is the girl by the pool supposed to be Hailey?

^^no idea, but him and her two main bodyguards should be in the series, shouldn't they?! hope they stick to that

here's some spoilerish stuff

SPOILER!!!! (summary put in white)
Episode 12 (season finale) Episode Summary

Title: Beyond Here Lies Nothin'
Written by: Alexander Woo (wrote 1.08, 2.01, and 2.08)
Directed by: Michael Cuesta
Air Date: September 13, 2009
Summary: In the season two finale, the mayhem in Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (guest star Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt has a hard time swallowing Maxine's endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.

Actress Evan Rachel Wood is set to make her debut as Vampire Queen of Louisiana Sophie-Anne LeClerq on the August 30th episode of HBO's True Blood, and by all indications, it ain't gonna be pretty.

Show creator Alan Ball told Entertainment Weekly that Sophie-Anne is a vampire "nobody's ever entirely happy to see," and says, "she's very powerful, capricious, and most likely insane."

Sounds like fun! Everyone seems to be anticipating her appearance.

It is presumed Sophie-Anne will be called upon by Bill Compton (who has a history with her) to help calm the chaos in Bon Temps created by the meanad Maryann Forrestor. Whether or not she ultimately proves to be a help or a hinderance is a matter for speculation.

So what do we know about Sophie-Anne?

For starters, she's somewhere between 400 and 1100 years old (depending on whom you ask) and was created in her early teens. She's ostensibly French, but she has no French accent.

Sophie-Anne has a special gift that allows her to communicate telepathically with the "children" she's created. She says she can keep her "children" with her, talking to each other and loving each other physically.

This differs from normal vampire "maker"/"child" relationships which start out as companions or lovers but do not last long (in vampire standards). Usually, the child will leave the maker, and must only come again when he/she is called upon by the maker.

In Charlaine Harris' books, Sophie-Anne sent Bill back to his hometown of Bon Temps to find and seduce Sookie Stackhouse because Sookie's telephatic ability might be valuable to her.

That would explain Bill's sudden appearance at Merlotte's in the first episode of the series, where Sookie was a waitress.

The revelation might also drive a wedge between Bill and Sookie, pushing Sookie closer to vampire sherriff Eric, who is already in Sookie's head and seems intent on turning her into a vampire.

Apparently the queen swings both ways - Sookie learns that Sophie-Anne turned her cousin, Hadley, into a vampire and had a romantic relationship with her.

Although she'll only grace the final chapter of this season, Sophie-Anne is expected to play a pivotal role in season three.

Ball said Sophie-Anne has "more than one secret agenda, which we will slowly become aware of in season three."

So it sounds like Bon Temps is trading one crazy b*tch (Maryann) for another. Or maybe there's room for two!

Bring it on, Alan Ball!

i fear she's going to be my new maryanne :(

^they gave away almost all the important stuff, but what exactly does that mean? will they stay true to the events on the book regarding Bill-Sookie-Eric? or they gave it away cause the show is taking a different direction?

argh, now that you said it i wanted to put more in white, but i failed to do it in the 10 minutes...
so anyone who hasn't read the books READ ABOVE ARTICLE CAREFULLY!!!

but yeah, since they gave away most of her "secret agenda" of the books they'll probably change a lot of it. and maybe they'll already include the whole vampire summit and king killing into the next season?!

this is some old season 1 special ...i had never seen it before, thought i'd share (good to kill 30 minutes )

In some ways I like that they don't follow the book verbatim but I also don't like how they sometimes go completely off script it's just loosing a little of what made the books such a good read. I am furious over Evan being the Queen. I think they messed up BIG time.

Agreed! I really hope they don't skip over Alcide. I really liked his storyline.

Alcide was ok for me, but i hope they skip the whole Quinn story...didn't like Quinn one bit :(
but i really want claude and claudine, they're funny and could provide many good scenes, as well as the other supes, since sam is already a supe i think they should introduce the others as well.
my hopes for next season: MANY Pam scenes, more Fangtasia, introduction of Hot Shot(s?) and the "reveal" of Bills real motives...and o can't remember in which book it was, but maybe already the whole Haleigh (ugh, never know how to spell the name)-queen and then Amelia-and other witches storyline.
(and not too much queen...i have to wait for next weeks episode, but i'm not excited about erw after seeing her "queen-look")

PAM (Kristin Bauer) would make a better queen.

But, the queen is supposed to be a teenager right? (I have not read past book three yet) I don't think the actress playing Pam would fit the role. Not that Evan does either, but at least she is closer in age.

yeah, but Pam is supposed to be 19 as well...i don't mind the age-difference there because Kristin Bauer is perfect as Pam

and I'll give evan a chance next week but her whole look is so off and she doesn't look like a queen OR a vampire to me at all, so i'm really disappointed

and although i agree that Kristin would have been a better queen(although the queen is 14/15) i'm happy she's playing pam and comes back all the time...her role should just be bigger

I 100% agree. I think they went "young" instead of what was "right" as far as casting the Queen. Kristin is perfect for Pam. I didn't hear alot about her before she was cast as Pam and the same goes for alot of the cast members I think they should have picked someone relatively unknown or flat out unknown (Evan is relatively unknown but her personal life makes some head lines)JMO:blush:

bummer about the queen, she doesn't even look like a HBIC. Bill's maker would've been an incredible choice.
